Try to keep this forum useful, avoid your silly - useless - statements and help the community if you can contribute.

Thank you.
I am a Swiss citizen. You are asking how can you screw my system to benefit you.
Why should I explain and contribute to your plans.

Glad we are both Swiss.

I'm referring to your statement that any skillset can be acquired here or even online.

You probably should reconsider your point of view.

Re: RAV, some months away and then back again?

sigh... Jbrady was clearly trying to be helpful, and you received a lot of useful information on this thread.

Reading your 36 posts since you joined 5 years ago, all I see are requests for information, rather than any useful contribution or appreciation to or of this community you speak of. Ok once you did give away a garden hose when you moved apartment

I have looked at your profile and seen that your hobby is sailing.
Considering that I was in the merchant navy, I would understand if you were taking time off to hone your skills in this direction.
In which case an online course would not suffice.
If this is the direction you are upskilling in - then I was wrong.
Otherwise - you have piqued my interest about what subject area you are pursuing - please put me out of my misery. Or is it top secret?
Is this enough reconsidering?
Good luck anyway.

The ALK can.

Tom
You WISH he were denied payment.

I went to RAV 8 months after I became unemployed. All they asked was 3 months were of applications. ALK didn't ask anything.

That was my story. Pray, tell us your experience with ALK denying payments after late registration.

Why not register with the RAV and go through the first 5 or 6 months process (with 70% money) THEN take the 3 months "searching abroard" option on full Arbeitsloskasse?

You may even find a job in this time - also you have enough time to make private online training if you are really serious about upgrading your skills. The extra money you receive would more than cover the most expensive courses that I have ever seen.
This part is useful.

What job requires a face to face training that cannot be done with Skype and the like these days?
Even cooking has youtube options!
This part is silly.
