Getting hired as a newbie web developer in Switzerland?

I am a dual citizen between Austria and the USA, but I have done all my studies in the US. I have a Bachelors in Biology and reside currently in Austria, but I am looking to change careers and have been studying web development for the past several months. Next year, I am planning on moving in with my boyfriend, who lives in St Gallen, Switzerland. My question is, what are the realistic chances of me being able to find a web development job in Switzerland once I'm done studying? My mother tongue is English and my German is about a B2/C1.

I'm studying mostly front-end web development. Is there anything I can learn to boost my chances of being hired? Would it be better to be more full-stack? Are there web dev jobs for English speakers?

Thanks for the help!

Re: Getting hired as a newbie web developer in Switzerland?

Probably not applicable for simple web-monkey kind of jobs, but i keep hearing a lot of chatter recently about leetcode as the go-to place for interview prep

Regarding the newbie bit, my impression is that swiss companies mostly look for experienced people so you might do better if you take up some job in Austria right now and come here with a year's worth of experience on your resume
