Re: How to get an internship?

I'm looking for an internship but keep getting rejected. I know it is straightforward for every student to get an internship, but I'm an exception, so many companies denied me what I was entitled to. Any advice on how to get one? Or should I just look directly for an graduate program? For now I stick to internships as I think I have better chances there.

Internships are for intelligent people

Flat shares are for nice people

Ever wonder why you have neither ?

The world at large and life itself doesn't owe you anything.

You and "everyone else" have exactly the same opportunities. What you need to be asking, instead of whining on a forum, is why "everyone else" succeeded while you did not. Roegner's suggestions of asking for feedback on why you weren't successful, what you could do better to be successful are worth doing.

Most likely the reasons of rejections are way beyond my control. I think whether I get the job or not depends 100% on the employer and 0% on myself. Anyway I never asked for feedback, I'm so scared they wont even reply.

Nope, within your control, you have a real impact yourself on whether or not you get a flat share, an internship, a job.....And that won´t change
