Diploma translation

Hello All,

I understand that here in Switzerland when you apply for a job, you need also to attach all your diplomas, work certificates and so on, besides your CV and cover letter. Now my question is: if the diploma is translated in English by an authorized translater from another country then Switzerland, it is ok, it is accepted? Or I need it to be translated by an authorized translater in Switzerland? My diploma is in Finance.

Thanks

Depends on the job, I never send any diplomas or certificates, unless they specifically ask for it. So far they have accepted them at face value (not translated).

Any certified translator should be ok for that.
