working overseas for swiss employer

Hi all. I am relocating to France and looking to keep my employment in Switzerland. I'll be working from home (not commutable area of France!)

Does anyone know how best to manage the contract? Can I keep my swiss contract and be paid directly (into a swiss account or french) or will I need to set up by myself and invoice like a consultant? My HR have told be its 'complicated' to maintain the current contract but haven't explained the detail. Elsewhere I was told that unless I spend at least 2months working in Switzerland they cannot keep me on a Swiss contract (but I have found nothing online / anywhere to confirm this!).

Its not a problem to set up alone but obviously this requires some more planning so just looking to see what others have done!

Many thanks
