fresh graduate looking for job as Engineer

Hello, I am German and I have just graduated Bachelor degree as Raiway Engineer in Germany. I had 6 months internship in a train company in Basel. I am looking for a job in Switzerland but it seems so difficult. I have apply almost all train companies and get 6 interviews but all rejected. They answered that i dont have enough experiences.
What should i do to get more experience? without having Master Degree.
Im also not good at answering Interview question. What should i do?

Probably get that Masters Degree. The Swiss like those.

Hard to say without more information really. Some ideas:

- The first "real" job is the hardest. 6 interviews is nothing. Don't give up!

- Do you have good references from that internship? Either as a written "zeugnis" or a person they can contact.
- Are you applying for junior positions? It sounds weird that people would invite you to an interview knowing you had only a 6 month internship and then tell you that they were looking for someone with more experience.

- The more interviews you go to, the better you'll be able to answer those questions. Google the questions which come up most often to find out what kind of information they are looking for when they ask it. Sometimes it's subtle things like how you phrase things or which words you choose which can set you apart from others.

In any case good luck!

Have you checked with job placement agencies, e.g Kelly? There are so many of these, and lots of employers these days prefer contract workers to FTEs.
Why? Faster and cheaper to let them go and it runs on different budgets within the company. Anyway, maybe you could find contract work to gain experience for a few years. Then you will have more practical experience and can re-assess your options.

Don't do an extra degree just for the sake of it...it's your education. Make of it what YOU want with it. It's a fool's game to go back to school when you really want to work. :msnnerd:

So, try and try again. And if not successful in CH, try Germany, or why not NL?

In general in my posts, I don't pick on people's style of writing or spelling. However, since you've asked for ideas about what you should do, I'd like to point out, gently, that your writing, in this post, seems not to have been done with much preparation.

Though that may be fine for a forum post, your writing is what gives the reader a first impression of how you might approach your work. Since this is a fully public forum, it could be that a potential employer will read what you write here.

When you apply for jobs, do you take greater care when preparing your CV and your covering letter?

Thank you, sorry for my bad English, i tried to edit but i didnt know how to do it.
My CV was checked by a HR in my dad company and i also recieved some interview invitations so i think it's not that bad. I came to interview and it seemed they liked me, interview was going well. But after that, there was still rejection, either not enough experience or talking about technique too much. It get me frustrated when my old company also rejected me when i have a really good references.
