Jobs in Ticino

Hello everyone,

I moved to Ticino a few days ago and I am looking for a job, so I figured I'd ask fellow English speakers for some advice. I have tried finding a list of agencies to little avail (found some, and sent my CV via email but no response yet). Does anyone know if it's better to go in person to the agencies with a printed CV, or does it not make a difference?

At this point I'm willing to take any job. If someone on here can land me an 80+% position I will not only be eternally grateful, but even willing to pay.

PS I already went through all of jobs.ch, indeed.ch, jobup.ch and glassdoor. At this point I'm just looking for tips and tricks. Unfortunately I'm a skill-less online college student so I'll probably have to settle for flipping burgers, but this sort of position seems even more difficult to find available

Re: Jobs in Ticino

Go to the local URC, they won't give you any free money, but they may be able to point you in the right direction.

Ufficio regionale di collocamento (via E. Bossi 12, 6830 Chiasso)
orari sportello: 9:00-11:45 / 14:00-16:00
