uenmployment transfer

Hello.
sorry about the wall of text. Ill try to make it short.

Currently I am looking for work while receiving money from my danish unemployment fund, I can stay here 3 months while getting paid by Denmark. I have found a part-time job with the possibility of full time, but I have just talked with my danish fund and they told me it is not possible to get the money since, I will also get a swiss unemployment fund and I cant have 2, so I would automatically stop getting the danish fund.

I have also been here 2 months out of the 3 that is allowed.
Does anyone know if I can somehow receive unemployment fund in switzerland until my contract is fulltime so I can stay longer and have enough money to live here?

Thanks in advance. I hope someone can help with this issue.

Re: uenmployment transfer

No idea how that works in Denmark, but the procedure probably is the same in many countries:

You apply in Denmark to transfer your unemployment to CH. You´ll probably get some document with which you can apply for Swiss unemployment.

And your employment payments will be limited in relation to the amount of years you worked (400 something days if you are under 55). Not sure if this transfer is capped?

Best to go to the RAV now and ask.

Re: uenmployment transfer

The Danish unemployment fund is correct.
Unemployment can only be transferred from country to country for three months and if you are working you will only get a ‘top up’ for the last month.
