non EU dependent B permit - change of an employer

Hi,

I have a non-EU dependent B permit, and obtained a work permit of my own recently. It took my employer only about three weeks to get me a work permit; they said that they just had to "register" with the authorrities.

My question is, if in the future I decide to change the job, does my new employer have to register with the authorities again? Or do I get to keep my work authorization as long as my husband is employed? A friend of mine, non-EU woman married to a EU husband, said that she could keep her work authorization once it's issued. I wasn't quite sure if it would be different for me. Does anyone know about this? Thanks in advance!

Yes, does anyone know the answer to this? Would be extremely helpful.

And if one has their permit expiring a few weeks before leaving their job, is the employer still required to renew the permit?

Thanks

Sorry I cannot help with an answer here. Have either of you searched through the Forum Threads? - someone might have asked the same question before.
Also, I wonder whether the first post might have attracted the attention of the folk who know the law in this field had it been posted under Permits/Visas/Government. I don't expect I am the only member who only looks through Threads in certain Forums.
