Contracts Lawyer

A German company have offered me a 3 month zero hours programming contract to develop an app.

Within that they say they will pay me 40 an hour, with an initial tranche of 50 hours. I need to simply book hours I spend developing code. They obviously have their own in house developers and will judge if it is a reasonable claim I guess.

It is a freelance thing so I not sure where I will be with Chomage [I had applied for job with said company]. At this point i have asked for gain intermediate, although I suspect it doesn't really apply.

I am going to accept but wanted to ask here if here are any other freelance app developers who have signed similar deals?

I wondered too does it make sense to ask a employment lawyer to look over their contract to make sure I am not being fleeced here? Can anybody recommend a employment lawyer? [ideally a German reading one ] who speaks English I don't ask much...

Re: Contracts Lawyer

I worked as a freelancer and declared as gain intermediaire. I'm not sure whether that is the same set-up as you, as it depends who is paying your social insurances.

In case you haven't seen the form already, it is the first one listed here https://www.arbeit.swiss/secoalv/fr/...beitslose.html. Point 18 indicates the information required if you are a freelancer/independent.
