Sounds she has no clue herself.........Scan your insurance card with the AHV number and send her that

But first make sure the person at the other end is genuine and you are not being scammed. The response sounds too idiotic to be real TBH

My guess is that you are an EU citizen and she wants to see you National Identity Card. That or your passport as your B permit isn't really an ID.

This sounds absolutely idiotic - on the HR part.
Don't you have a German speaking friend who can call them and ask WTF she's talking about?
I would be highly annoyed by now. (Glad you seem to keep your cool )

------
The need of an hour is to get a job. I dont have much choice as most of the companies are straight away denying my job application.

Well the company is the reputed MNC and I see a valid email address.

Show her your passport or identity card if you have such in your country. Many countries provide two identity documents (including CH) and that's probably what she's asking for. Just to be sure about your identity. You'd need to provide these documents anyway if the interviews go well.

In that case, send a copy of your permit. The employer wants to know if you are eligible to work here.

So you actually have a card type permit. Other than that I can only assume she means the AHV/OASI card or some form of national ID/passport from your country. Or is it a professional driver job? Then she might mean the green CZV card

Why do you have a paper permit if you are non-EU?

Hello Friends,
One of the employer is asking me to present my "card" to continue my employment interview.

I have already shown her my B permit but she keeps insisting on "card". I failed to understand what she means by "show me ur card" question ?

Are you from an EFTA country?

Does got paper permits as well. This is how it looks:
https://www.sem.admin.ch/sem/en/home...b_eu_efta.html

Does your paper "permit" look like the above?

Re: What is the card ?

This is what I would do:
First do due diligence that it is a real company and everything is legitimate.

Once you're sure of that, scan front and back of the following:
  • Your passport. If you have more than one nationality, use the passport that you used to register with the Swiss government to get your permit.
  • Your ID (Identity) card, if you have one from your country.
  • Your B permit - whether on paper or in card form.
  • Your AHV-Ausweis (social security card), if you have one, otherwise
  • Your medical insurance (Krankenkasse) card (which should reflect your AHV number)

For German, here are some of the names, taken from the website of the City of Zurich, of documents (that they would need to register a change of address)
Bei ausländischen Staatsangehörigen benötigen wir:
  • Ausländerausweis
  • Pass (bei EU/EFTA Staatsangehörigen genügt auch die Identitätskarte)
  • Meldebestätigung

The other card of which I can think, that she might want, is your bank account, so that she can pay you.

Then, mail all those to her. Do not ask her, again, what she means by "the card". Simply list all the scans, and save her the work by typing out all the details, yourself, into your mail. And then at the end, write that you hope that you've now supplied the full set of documents she needs and ask that, if not, she please let you know. If you don't get any response, phone after a day or two, and ask her whether she now has everything necessary.

If your "permit" does not look like this card permit https://www.ag.ch/de/dvi/migration_i...958&accordId=0 nor the above paper permit than it is not a "proper" permit but some letter stating that your permit was granted (Zusicherung der Aufenthaltsbewilligung) or that you registered with your commune ("Bestätigungen über die Niederlassung" or "Wohnsitbestätigung"), you can take up residency, most likely also start to work after registering with the commune etc.

The paper should state the details and conditions. Whta the heck is written on it?

For the actual permit card, finger print, photos must be taken. You will get an invite for that. It takes around 2-3 weeks to get it printed.

Are you sure you have received your permit? You only moved here this year right? So you should have a card permit not a paper one. Have you had your biometrics taken? Then you should get a card that looks like this....

http://www.google.ch/amp/s/www.newly...-c-permit/amp/ (ignore article just for pic purposes)

With Covid etc, maybe this has been delayed and you just have a letter documenting your residence so far?

Re: What is the card ?

I got her email today and suddenly she is fine with the document I have provided. As suggested here, I have given her all the proof - passport, cc, B permit and insurance.

Thanks all of you again for the help.

But one thing came out from this is there is still this "card" which cantonment must issue to me and I still dont have it. I will call them and ask.

Thanks again for all the help.

Ah I think they are looking for your “Anti Trump” card. Should be easy enough to get at the US Embassy, since you don’t even want to acknowledge where you come from....

Sounds like you and the HR person are well matched....

Re: What is the card ?

So at 1631 she wanted to see your residence permit? (Fair enough, she could have explained herself better, but probably expected you to have and know about the credit card style permit that you require).

Her email was "I need card to proceed furthur"..
Then magically outside of office hours, sometime she changed her mind?

You never answered if you have been yet to have your biometrics taken? How are you entitled to your B permit? Family reunification?
