RHT(measure in case of reduced working hours)

I'm a new resident of Switzerland, otherwise I am a Slovenian citizen,
I moved to Geneva in February 2020, where I also found a job in one of the Swiss companies.
I worked from February 1st to March 16th regularly but due to covid-19, our company sent us home and informed that we are registered in "RHT" (measure in case of reduced working hours).
i have an indefinite contract with them and i am paid by the hour. we were told that unemployment insurance pays us the average of the last six monthly salaries. and since I have only worked a month and a half, what belongs to me is what I got from the first of February to March 16 divided by six, and that is the salary I get since March. I wonder if anyone has similar experiences and if it really like they claim?

thanks for every answer
