I don't want to be the doomsayer here but RAV are not going to help you change careers. For the most part they have their hands tied behind their backs on training, and at best will offer you language training, the same thing they've been offering for the past 25 years or more. They won't help you find a job either, they simply there to try and make sure you don't screw the system and you're that making at least a token effort to find a job. Will they mind if you were previously in IT and spend more of your time applying for jobs in garden centres, I don't know... maybe it depends on the councillor you're talking too. I don't think they'll complain if you do both.
True. And those who consider quitting out of boredom should also know that RAV will assist only those who lost their job due to other factors than quitting.

@OP, if you're entitled to unemployment benefits you should discuss about your plans with you advisors, but don't hold your breath. There are a lot of Migros courses in the area of interest you have mentioned. Check them out. (they're the cheapest)

Are you, one of the single most morally and ethically dubious people on this forum, a man with fringe far-right wing ideals who posts abhorrent things and lies and misinforms in political threads on a regular basis, trying to take the moral high ground because I called someone lazy for not putting effort into their own career change? Comedy gold.
"far-right" obviously you have no grasp of what words mean nor political concepts. That you judge people's personality (and intelligence) on their beliefs says a lot more about you than it does me.
