Ski instructor (Praktikum, Aushilfe) Berner Oberland

I have a nanny coming from abroad (EU) to help with taking care of my kids for the winter season (December 2020 to April 2021). This means that she will have a permit B (Aufenthaltsbewilligung) sorted out.

Now, this young lady has a university degree in Sports Science and is quite proficient at skiing. Since she will have quite a lot of free time (whole days Fri-Sat-Sun), she would be very much interested in doing some type of Praktikum at a Ski School (Aushilfsskilehrer). She is not interested in getting paid, she would just like to get as much experience as possible and meet young people who also love snow-sports. The goal is to get the most out of her stay in Switzerland!

Questions:
- Would it make sense to attend a course to obtain Swiss qualifications? Something like "Kids Instructor Ski (ZA Kids)"? Does it make any sense to choose a BASI course over the Swiss course?
- Would it be better to contact some Ski Schools in the region in advance, before getting the Swiss qualifications?
- Or would it be easier to just volunteer to help with the trainings of the local ski club?

Problems:
- She only speaks English, French and her native language. No German at all. We are in the Berner Oberland (Meiringen). She is really sociable and

Thanks in advance!

No idea, but since you posted this very late yesterday, have a bump.

Update: It was pretty easy to arrange a Praktikum / internship at the local ski school for a couple of weeks. This gives her some exposure (at least 40 teaching hours) and a reference letter.
She will also be attending / helping out with trainings of the local ski club.

Ski Instructor has no particular reputation at present
Re: Ski instructor (Praktikum, Aushilfe) Berner Oberland

I don't think it will be a problem but you are better off to get in touch with some local ski schools, in this way you have a better idea if they need her. Winter season doesn't look full of tourists.
Good luck.
