B Permit, Withheld Tax

Hi All,
I hope everyone is well?
After being a reader of the forum for a few weeks i have decided to make a quick post.

I am currently in the process to interview for a job in Neuchatel, hence i am doing my research in the area/country (I am currently in the UK).

Would i be correct in saying that with a 120K CHF salary on a B Permit i would probably be taking home 7K CHF a month (Minus Health Care, About 400), Net Net about 6600 CHF.

Does this sound in the correct ballpark?

I just want to get some rough figures before i speak with the employer etc.

Thanks in advance

Re: B Permit, Withheld Tax

Chech out Comparis.CH. You can do a tax calculation there.

Re: B Permit, Withheld Tax

Thanks for the suggestion,
I have been on many sites and the numbers vary a little. Comparis comes back at 7500, so a little more take home than expected.

Re: B Permit, Withheld Tax

Tax amount depends on whether you are single or married (& your partner is working or not). It also depends on Gemeinde you are going to live (tax may vary 2-4% here). You can check ETH calculator to get a ball park amount but your guess of approximately 7k net is right assuming you are single.
