Re: RAV 8 months of a job

well, the RAV is doing not much, she have to do the applications for the jobs, the rav collects the data, when she meets the brief(10-15 applications per month at least), the rav process the payment.
If she done more then 2 years of unlimited work here in switzerland, she qualifies for 400 days of payment from the rav.
The rav is happy , when you are doing some form of work (temporär), so they can save money.(Bescheinigung Zwischenverdienst).
If she is successfull with her jobhunt, but the potential new job will be more then 2 hours one way away, you can reject the offer.
The financial aspect:
The potential new job must deliver more then 70% of the old job.
70% of the old job is what you get when you are on RAV.
If she get less then 70% offered in the potenial new job, she can reject the offer without any problems .

Re: RAV 8 months of a job

FAQs 1 and 2 at this link should answer your question regarding eligibility for unemployment compensation. Also see FAQ 5 to determine when a RAV-registered job-seeker must accept a job offer (English):

Re: RAV 8 months of a job

8 months contribution is not enough

''Contribution period
You have to show that you have paid contributions for at least 12 months during the past two years (qualifying period for contributions), before first applying, i.e. you have worked as an employee.''

and yes, RAV will insist that she looks for work and accepts anything deemed suitable, within reason.

Still worth going to see them for advice though.

Hi thank you, She worked continuously in Spain for seven years, another thing is that she resigned from her past job here in Switzerland at the beginning of the pandemic, can she ask for this RAV assistance anyways?
