Re: RAV benefits, moving from DE to CH

@TomLis, I would suggest getting on italki. There are really good teachers of many languages on there and the rates are very reasonable. Not only are there very experienced teachers on there who will help you prepare for language certification exams, there are many people on there who would practice speaking German with you - for free - in exchange for help with English. For paid services, you choose when you meet your tutor and how long the lesson is. Don't allow yourself to get too set on getting lessons paid by RAV. There are many ways nowadays to improve language skills.

With that I agree.

This however must be a joke. In Germany, I think the cost of kindergarten is 200-300 EUR per month. Here, there were times where we paid 3000 CHF per month for one kid. There is a reason so many women don't work or at least not full time.
Correct and even less. Depends on Bundes, and according to the joint Salary, you could pay around 300 EUR. But the Average Family indeed will pay much les..

we don't need to debate that - it's all over documented - CH is one of the worst country on the world (when looking at financial side and time given to parents) when it comes to raising kids. Same time is one of safest environment to it ..

Kita prices are very high.

But comparing 50% of your salary gone in taxes and social security and getting minimal pension returns…..in Germany
