Always. The water needs to be hot to get a decent brew, can't get a strong brew in milky water

I can get PG tips from any Asia shop in Germany, and indeed our local Edeka has Yorkshire tea.
But HP sauce is only a fond memory and indeed there is a HP sauce crisis here in the Fatherland, don´t know about the situation in CH.

At the moment I bulk-buy PG Tips from Amazon France, not sure if they'll delivery to Switzerland though. I've heard tell that amazon.de does deliver at least some things so it might be worth having a quick look?
Thanks for that! You just made my day! My Asian store has closed down and so we are running low on PGs. Just ordered two 300 bag boxes from amazon.de. only 2 EUR for shipment...keep my fingers crossed that it works.

I buy PGtips by the kilo not in bags from the Asian shop.
And yes, you can get an amazing strong brew with it even with putting the milk first.

What a retarded post.

And please stop using this damn word 'expats' to refer to white rich immigrants full of a sense of entitlement.

Milk in after - how terribly common. Although I gather when I do it, it's a bit of a mif. (from Milk In First, apparently).

Hmm another good reason to derail the thread.

Why am I called an immigrant whereas my Zimbabwean friend is an expat? Is it because I am dark skinned and he is white?

From the Swiss point of view you are all migrants.
And once you get a Swiss passport your roots will always be mentioned (Migrationshintergrund is the chosen word).

Not sure if that's any better though.

And I think nobody uses expat except the Brits. The ones looking over from their island that is, which explaines the "ex". After all, I've not seen the word "inpats" on EF. Yet.

Good example at the time were retired expats in Spain complaining about too many immigrants in the UK

Again, Amazon.de. Just type in HP sauce, got loads of options!

In Switzerland I've occasionally seen it in the Coop.

Completely agree with you (wow). The term ex-pat reminds me of the time that my parents used to say “we’re going for a vacation on the Continent” in the 1970 / 1980’s. Europeans really find this laughable.

Well, people aren’t coming anymore because it’s almost impossible to get a job so the population of expats will continue to decline over time.
And you think that this analysis/conclusion is watertight, based as it is on a year of a global pandemic, near-worldwide lockdown and international travel ban?
