RAV question

Hello everyone,

I was recently fired due to being ill for a long time.
They gave me 2 months notice.
1 day after I got fired I registered with rav and a couple of days later I got a letter at home with a lot of stuff to fill and also a date to show up on Rav.

With the papers, some yellow papers also came in the middle, it says Antrag auf arbeitlosenentschädigung and another one Arbeitgeberbescheinigung.
Do I have to fill both now before the meeting with rav? I am still on the 2 month notice with my employer.

Do I have to fill every document that comes on the paperwork they sent me?

Thanks in advance.

Re: RAV question

Are you still technically "ill", i.e. sick note from your doctor saying you can't work? If so, then they can't fire you iirc.

I was already fired. I had a sick note for 50% work at the time. Its a big company so I doubt they are doing something ilegal.

There is a lot of paperwork with rav and I dont understand very well some questions on the yellow papers. Do I have to fill them before the meeting?

The yellow forms go to the Kasse, and not to RAV. It is not necessary to have the yellow documents completed and submitted to the Kasse before the first meeting with RAV.

At this link, post 4, is a translation of the Antrag auf Arbeitslosenentschädigung:

https://www.englishforum.ch/employme...ranslated.html

The Arbeitgeberbescheinigung is to be sent to your former employer for completion. They should return it to you for enclosure with the Antrag to be submitted to the Kasse. As you were sick (or injured), you will also need to submit a doctor's note (Arztzeugnis) certifying that you are able to work. Also, enclose a copy of your termination letter.

It is advisable to take the RAV duties and responsibilities online course as soon as possible, as it will explain the RAV processes. Be sure to print out the certificate at the end to give your RAV adviser at the first meeting (or send it to him/her if you know the adviser's email address):
