I'm still working on it, but some functionality is already there..perhaps you'll be lucky and find something.
Regards,
Daniel | | | | | Daniel, you're aggregating RSS feeds from other sites there?
I also notice that you can register but don't see the benefits nor a privacy policy?
Are you generating income through this site or is it offered from the goodness of your heart?
And it seems slow....

And it seems slow... | | | | | Exactly right, i aggregate feeds from different sites based on different keywords, extract some info and categorize them accordingly. Also, the site is not meant to generate income, I created it as a project for my studies and have been redesigning / developing it for the last few weeks.
The reason why I have the registration option there, is that I have the plan to allow companies to add their jobs to a seperate section of the site (for free) and visitors who register (for free) will have the ability to search through those as well.
Your point of a privacy policy is a very good point and something I have not though of (since site has been free and more of a project)...
I am working on the performance issues..
So please don't take my post as advertisement of some sort, its a free site, feel free to use it, it will get better in the next few weeks as more work gets done, i do not intend to make any $,
Greetings,
Daniel

There is a page on JOBPILOT.CH that lists the companies that post on the website: http://www.jobpilot.ch/companyoverview/
There are probably 500+ companies listed. You'll recognize many of them, and most of the links go to the company's website. The websites in english may be an indication that english is the spoken language.
Good luck!

TTS - Weird. Seems odd since there are plenty of open positions in this area.
Resend to colin (at) swisslinx.com please.

Hi there,
I did not have time to read all the responses, but one agency which I found very good for English speaking positions though they specialise in banking. The link is http://www.futurewatch.ch/. I would suggest contacting Simon Portalski. They are very small, and not well known, but definitely worth a try!!
Good luck,
Leysin

| | Re: English Speaking Companies in Switzerland | Quote: | | | | | I am positive that there are some transferrable skills i.e. relationship management, banking experience, customer service, language skills & etc that I could contribute especially in an admin or junior roles. Then, the job agency would say that I am overqualified for an admin role. So here I am, stuck in the middle of nowhere near a proper position neither a junior or assistant role.
Well, I guess never give up is the key. Have signed up for German class. Hope the situation will improve.
Cheers,

sunrise (TDC Switzerland) has their official business language in English.
However, if you are customer facing, fluent German would be expected of course, and in reality is used a lot, except in IT )
If you find something interesting, do let me know, because I would get a sign-on bonus http://www.sunrise.ch/en/uebersunris...jobssuchen.htm |

try arvinmeritor.com based in duebendorf
or
libertycall based in wallisellen
mybluesky.ch
or companies listed on www.xpatxchange.com as most 'should' speak English. Good luck.

Xpatechange is a web site that contains links many different things. Are they hiring? Or did you have a specific section of the site in mind?

Hi there, I'm happy that I found this site while browsing for an English Speaking Companies here in Switzerland. I've been here for almost 11 months will be 1 year next month. I just got married and now looking for jobs here. I graduated as an engineer in my country but never really had the chance to practice my field because I worked as a call center agent for 2 years which also indulge in "technical support". I am currently working in one of a fiber optics company in Küssnacht but only as temporary. And I think they are not hiring at the moment. The problem is if there is no work for me that means I don't report to the office. And that means also that my salary is not stable at the end of the month. I would like to work any kind of job as a start.
Once a week, i go to my private teacher for working out my German. But to tell you it's not easy learning this language. At least i'm having fun.
Any recommendations for any English Speaking Companies here is greatly appreciated. Thanks :-)

Hello guys,
There were many posts in this thread indicating employment agencies in Switzerland. I visited their web sites but there's nothing there about prices. So my question is: how those companies make money? Do you have to pay a fee when they find you a job or they charge a percentage of your salary? And if so, for how long? Do you have any idea about the values involved?
Thanks!

The same goes for Swisscom & Swisscom Mobile, that said, the positions tend to be centred in Bern
