Hourly/monthly wage for a nanny in Switzerland

Hi
I just wondered if anyone can help me, Im trying to find out the hourly rate or monthly rate for a nanny here in switzerland as I have no idea. I have gone for a job and they have asked me to think about the salary. The job is part time 30 hours a week, looking after 3 girls, 3yrs 5yrs and a 4th month old. Any helpful tips or suggestions I would be most greatful

Hi Laura,
I live in the french part of Switzerland and can give some information for this part:
if you are an official member of prof. association of nannies (here it is called maman de jour agrée) it's 5Fr/h for each child - official cost, if not - you give your price based on your education, experience, work you have to do etc. and possibilities of parents to pay

Hi Laura,

I works as a nanny before for different family. Most of the time only 1 kid, the family paid me sfr15 perhour.

for nannies the following is said:


Hourly Wages (holiday bonus incl.)
· CHF 23.00 – 25.00 gross per hour for childminders with no specific training
· CHF 25.00 – 30.00 gross per hour for childminders with specific training (for example nurses
for infants, kindergarten teachers, etc.)




Monthly Salary
· CHF 3’200.00 – 3’800.00 gross for full-time employment (43 hours per week) for childminders
with no specific training
· CHF 3’800.00 – 4’800.00 gross for full-time employment (43 hours per week) for childminders
with proven skills and experience.
