Little advice needed..

Hello dear readers..
I am new to this forum.
I live and work in Goteborg, Sweden for 2 years now.Everything is just fine, but me and my wife are thinking to move down there in Switzerland soon.
Regarding this, I have a question, maybe more later .
We originaly come from eastern europa, and we dont have a swedish passports yet, but we do have a residence permit, ID cards, and work permit.
Can we work and live in Switzerland, it was my question.
Switzerland is not the part on European Union, and does the laws permit workers from EU/EEA to live and work in Swiss?
Can we use our Swedish ID cards, residence permit, and work permit, to enter, work and live in Switzerland?

Thank you all in advance for your help.

Take care.

Hello Markoff, i would stay were you are until the country you are from has the right to work in Switzerland. Saying that, if you have qualifications that are needed in Switzerland and find a company that is willing to employ you and can provide you with a work permit there is no harm in trying.

Markoff,

it all depends which Eastern European country you belong to. My wife is Slovakian & we now (thankfully) have no problems.

I'm not sure about the newer entrants to the EU (Bulgaria, Romania etc), suggest you check on the local website of your embassy or consulate in Switzerland, they will have a page on visa & residence requirements for their nationals in Switzerland.

Thank you very much for your answer.
I originaly come from Slovenia, and the reason for leaving Sweden is low wages with our jobs, and very expensive live here.
Me and my wife are both with masters degree, me with Pedagogy, and she with EU economics, and supervision.
Here the wages are low, like i wrote before, and we both earn aftertax about 2200 euros, which is not enough for life here with this standard.
How much is the average salary in Swetzerland at the moment, and how is labour market?

Thank you one again.

Take care.
