Good morning Folks

Ive a question about expenses and allowable expenses.

The company I work for is based in Geneva. They've contracted me out to another company in lausanne. Im living in lausanne also.

What expenses am I entitled to ??

Travel Expense ?
Lunch Expense ?
Mobile Expense ?
Internet expense at home ? (for dialling into work)

Is there a standard list ? or is is based on whatever contract I have with my Geneva company ?

What you're entitles to is based on company policy and your position in the company

Some companies will chauffeur you there in the company limousine and pay
for 5-star restaurant lunches

Some companies will only give you the extra train fare cost, 2nd class

Some companies give you nothing at all

So you need to read your company policy on such matters, and/or discuss with the HR department

Sounds like you're in the wrong job, you should be an MP !!

What travel expenses do you plan to claim, you live in Lausanne and you're going to work in Lausanne. I presume you're not planning to go to Geneva every morning just to travel to Lausanne to go to work, and the same in the evening.

Lunch expenses...probably cheaper in Lausanne than Geneva, maybe you should pay your company in Geneva something
