Hi all!

I will be off maternity paid leave on 10th of October after this am i able to go back to work maybe for only 8 hours a week. I am unable to work more.
I am English and have been living with my partner for just over 2 years now in Basel and have worked the whole time. I would like to know if there is any financial support i can get as 8 hours of work a week will certainly not bring in enough money to live off!?!
Any advice on this matter, contacts etc would be great.

As far as i know you'll only get your allocated maternity leave from your employer or the state (state is 14 weeks)

It's up to the individual how much they can work and balancing work/home life etc... I can only go back for 2 days at first - I don't expect to get supplemented by anyone for the days I can't work

Yea thats what i thought...was just wondering though as i had planned to be going back to work more but unfortunately it just isn't possible at the moment. Thanks for your reply.
