Hello,

I'm getting married in Zurich and we are doing only the civil ceremony here. The party and the religious ceremony will be done next year in our home country.

I have managed to find a dress for the ceremony but now I find it difficult to find a flower shop that does wedding bouquets.

So if any of you can recommend me a flower shop that does really nice and special bridal bouquets, I would be forever grateful.

Congrats, first of all! The Fiorella shop in Seefeld does really nice bouquets. Have a look and contact them. They do all the flower arrangement for the company I work for and their stuff is breathtaking.

I think the best way to go about it is to surf bridal sites, grab a couple of ideas of your preferred colour scheme (whether you like reds, creams etc) before going into any florists to speak to them.

As with anything, bridal bouquets depend on when you are getting married and which flowers are in that particular season. For example, dont expect a bouquet of sunflowers in Dec etc if you arent prepared to pay top prices.

Grab some pictures of the bridal bouquets you like - a good florist will be able to discuss with you whats suitable for your budget etc.

I usually go to Marsano for my flowers. They have lovely blooms and very beautiful arrangements compared to most florists I've been to. There are a couple of branches but the ladies at Paradeplatz speak excellent English and are most helpful whenever I go in there looking for flower arrangements for special occasions. You might want to give it a shot!

Save yourself some francs and hit up Migros floral dept. They did my bouquet for our belated wedding photo shoot (I was 8 months preggers when we got married so no photos at the wedding) It came out soo much nicer and for a 1/4 of the price less than my wedding bouquet from the florist!

You could also hit one of the amazing self-service flower fields. I think that would be truly special to select the flowers yourself.

What time of year will that be? Even better than picking flowers from a self pick commercial field- wild meadow and garden flowers are so wonderful. no good beyond late September though.

Well that would be indeed special but I don't know about nice since I'm not very creative and I really want something well put together

It will be at the end of this month, so I have 3 weeks to find something.
