Re: Breakfast in Geneva
Thanks for that, Gata. Clubhouse was a mad house with the Rugby World Cup final (fun, too). Turns out the English pub down the road did a 'facsimile' breakfast - but doesn't open until 12.
It seems to me that living in the 'French' part of Switzerland, the dominance is on croissants and pain au chocolat to start the day.
The big find of the weekend was the discovery that 'roti' is rather like 'hash browns' and accordingly, Cafe du Bourg-de-Four (13, place du Bourg-de-Four) was a delicious find. Again, it doesn't open til 11am - but delicious.
Cafe-librairie livresse in Augustins also do nice brunch. Not open on Sundays.
I'll let you know if I find "the one"... but would be grateful for any and all suggestions.
