For 20-30 CHF the air gets very thin.....

Well Bubbles, someone up there is listening to you and was also sickened by the fact that someone could make a spicy curry gratin alongside the standard gratin that you approve of.

I always loved Au Gratin and especially its Sri Lankan spicy chicken version as well as many other varieties to suit all tastes. The staff were always very attentive, friendly and attentive.

But you will be more than happy to learn that 13 years after your scathing review, the place is now permanently closed (after 20 years of daring to serve up 21st century cuisine) as well as the News Bar below.

No other gratin places in Zurich that I know of, I hope you are happy that one place that dared to go beyond conventional cuisine is now no more. Your work is done.
