New Irish bar opening in Affoltern Am Albis

For those of you who live nearby, or have made it their life quest to visit every Irish bar in the world there is a new Irish bar opening in Affoltern am Albis on Friday 3rd March at 1700hrs.

Good or bad no idea as it isn't yet open.......

Situated at Zürichstrasse 60, 8910, AaA, underneath the Hotel Arche (and a tabledance bar)

and no I have nothing to do with the management or the dancers

Nice one!! I live smack bang in the middle of AaA, and Spyre is a 2 minute walk from my front door... Hotel Arche is about 30 seconds from my garage!! Cheers for the info, had no idea!!

Although i'd like to point out Friday is the 2nd of march, and 3rd is the Saturday... Which is it?

Is that where the Thai restaurant is, or the bar at the front?

Well, it's like a labyrinth inside... has good beer, but more a sit down at your table kinda pub, not really that traditional... The bar is kind of fenced in by the dividing walls... and no Irish food on the menu?? They order from the Thai place next door... So Irish beer and Thai food... A great combination for a pleasant odor in the place!

But don't take my word, at least check it out for yourselves at some point!

We went on Friday, and the lager was free... pity I was drinking Kilkenny The place is ok actually, lots of little booths and a small bar area. The deck outside will be nice in the summer... providing the road noise isn't to obtrusive, we'll go again.

The photo of the place looks nice, I like Irish beer and love Thai cuisine, so that I may end up there one day

I just by chance (rather mishap) was in Affoltern and was in the CQ Bar. A nice place and very nice girl looking for the guests.
