Hi,

My friend is in Zug for business and I would like to take the chance to bring him around Zug..

As I am new to the area, I am not sure where/what to do as well.

Any suggustions will be well appreciated!!

(I am bringing him around on a Sunday so I don't know how much of Zug is open..)

Hii, you should take him to the casino, its got a great restaurant with a great view.. If you're not interested in lunch, they serve great drinks and desserts.. Then you can go around the lake.. Thats pretty much it.. A lil boring!

Go up to a nearby mountain, i.e. Zugerberg or Rigi or Albis?

Re: What to do in Zug on Sunday?

There are a lot of little cafes open in the old town, on the lake. The cafe at the marina is also very nice and has a great view of the lake. I like the boat trip that does a round trip of about an hour which leaves from near the little ice-cream 'shop' about halfway between the old town and the marina. Apart from that there isn't alot to do on a Sunday.
If you like fairgrounds there is the chilbi on in Baar this weekend....

I would actually get out of Zug, head to Luzern, go up Pilatus, take the boat ride on Lake Lucern.

The above posters cover probably the best things to do in Zug itself.
