| | Farm Brunch Around Zürich
Hi,
The weekend brunch place that we enjoyed a lot is not offering the same thing this year, so Iḿ looking for other locations in the northern half of the Zürich Canton, ideally Unterland.
Searching in Google is difficult as a lot of brunch places actually only offer brunch on August 1st or other limited dates, not every weekend. Some other good ones are simply in the city, not on a farm.
Any experience or recommendation is more than welcome. I look especially for buffet offers of less than 35-40 CHF.
Many thanks
Best

But if you go by car, the parking situation in Jona is much better.

Plenty of restaurants out deep in countryside that offer lunch, rather than strict definition of "brunch".

Can you spell out what you mean by "Unterland" area?
Give me an area I could look up on google maps, such as "from here to here lengthwise and from here to here crosswise".

Andelfingen district or anywhere north of the Canton is also good.
Thanks

Sorry, I still get my ober and unter -lands mixed up.
I am not an expert of that region, I simply have occasionally roamed around in the countryside on weekends.
I was mainly thinking of lunch spots along the Zuriberg/ Pfannensteil ridge looking down on Grieffensee & Pfaffikon. Or over in the Ruti - Bachtel region. Also like picnicking/cycling/rollarblading/walking down the Tosstal river path, stopping at the badi for icecream.
Vaguely in your area, there's a place in the forest up behind Baden, probably something nice in Regensdorf (the little village itself is a nice, short wander), something along the Rhein walking path, the nice restaurant overlooking/right at the waterfall in Schauffhausen..... also like to walk around the Marsh nearish the airport, also rollarblading/cycling with publibikes on panzerpiste along the airport itself.
Perhaps let me know more what you are interested in .....
..... Sorry I'm being lazy but I don't want to spend 30 minutes pinning these down and looking the names up if they aren't used (since EF is often my form of procrastination on much more important stuff I'm supposed to be doing).

Thanks a lot. We are mainly looking for a brunch buffet on a farm or any other restaurant with a natural view. Anything else is a plus.
Juckerfarm is a great example, but we are looking ideally for somewhere closer to the north (i.e. to Rhein) and ideally a bit cheaper.
