What are you watching?

I am into two series at the moment:
All creatures large and small, the remake of the old series
The Wire

Totally different, one brings back memories of an England that is long gone. I am not that old, but remember childhood car trips, which I hated, on the Yorkshire Dales.
The other is, I assume, a good representation of modern inner city life in the States

Re: What are you watching?

We've been watching a series titled "The Servant," which is quite good so far. It's directed by that M. Night Shyamalan guy who did The Sixth Sense, Signs, etc. I also started watching the series "Yellowjackets" a few weeks ago -- about a girl's high school soccer team that gets trapped in the Alaskan wilderness after their plane crashes and they basically begin losing their minds due to hunger, etc.

I'll have to look for some of the other things mentioned here, as I've never heard of most of them.

Italian sexy comedies form the '70s-'80s, in Italian.

Tulsa King, in my humble opinion one of Sylvester Stallone‘s best performance.

Help We Bought a Village...makes our This Old House challenge look like a doddle. Most of the buildings in those abandoned villages were ruins before their crazy owners brought them back to life.

Re: What are you watching?

Beef was surprisingly excellent

Glow was entertaining as was Shrinking

The Silent Sea pretty riveting Korean Sci-Fi series too

Best thing I've seen in awhile is unquestionably, The OA - gutted this was cancelled after 2 seasons. Amazing series

Re: What are you watching?

I recently devoured The Diplomat. Some of the sharpest dialogue that I've seen in television in recent years, I can't wait for the next season.

Ted Lasso is good for a bit of comfort telly right now when my brain is tired. Shrinking had me laughing out loud, highly entertaining.

I tried watching Treason after everyone on Twitter raved about it, and it was genuinely one of the stupidest shows I've ever seen. I switched it off halfway through episode 2.

The Servant - I enjoyed it.

Yellow Jackets - entertaining enough

Beef - Loved it.

The Offer - about the making of The Godfather. I loved it.

Picard - Just finished Season 3. Paving the way for a new season with Captain 7 of 9.

Slow Horses - Gary Oldman, hard to go wrong.
