Birthday Parties for Children close to Basel. Any ideas?

We have two children due to be 6 in February and are looking for an indoor play centre where we can hold a birthday party. This should be close to Basel, be able to accomodate up to 40 children (ages 4 - 8) with relatively little supervision (maybe 8 adults depending on how many parents hang around). We considered Trampolino in Zurich but that's too far to ferry so many children, McDonalds doesn't seem to accomodate so many in one party and we cannot guarantee an English children's movie at that time.

What do people normally do here? Any advice much appreciated. We are trying to include both classes of children without having our home wrecked!!

Many thanks,

We've been to a couple near Mulhouse:

Oki-Dok: http://www.okidok.fr/
And Yupi-Parc (Not sure how that's spelt)

They are plenty big enough I'd suspect, although I've never been into goopey-park - only to the car-park. Both are around a 20-30 minute drive from Basel. Or you can train + bus.

Oki-Dok has free Wifi, so you can read EF while you're kids run riot.

There's also one in Basel (on tram line #14?), but I don't know it's name, nor whether it does parties.

I had my son's 8th birthday party at the Freizeithalle Dreirosen(by tram 14).

Check this for more info:

It does cost a lot. I took the Sunday option of 11 to 1 which cost me CHf225(Chf150 for the first hour and CHF75 for the 2nd). But we were allowed to stay on longer. The hall opens at 1 to public which means that the bithday kids would not have the area to themselves. But in my son's party no one seemed to mind as long as they got to play. A friend rented out the place on Saturday(when they are actually closed) and the charges are higher.

Hope this helps. Am sorry the site is only in German.
