Two or three years back I used to go every Sunday for "full English breakfast" to the Penny Farthing pub in Aarau.

It started (if I remember correctly) at about 10:00 AM and finished about 1:00 PM and was an "all you can eat" type of event with as many trips back to the kitchen as you wanted.

There was real bacon, Cumberland sausages, mushrooms, baked beans toast etc plus a selection of "continental" type breakfast stuff (cheese, ham, yoghurts and bread rolls).

Circumstances changed and I'm wondering if they still do these events.

Does anyone on this forum live in the Aarau area who could possibly enlighten me?

The website for the pub is www.pennyfarthing.ch but there is no mention of the breakfasts although there is a curry club.

Hi Flashman just checked the website, they only open at four in the afternoon on a sunday.............so i guess it's bye bye brekkies.

Update:

I emailed the owner Ian Nichol who said that for groups of 12 or more there would be no problem organising a breakfast buffet...
