| | Re: Brunch in Zurich | Quote: | | | | | For me the best place to go is BUBBLES near Stauffacher.
The full english breakfast is the best especially because they use higher welfare bacon with the right cut. PGtips and fresh orange juice…
Can't believe you guys don't know that place
a very nice place
only was there once, but can recommend it

I personally recommend the "Park Hotel Weggis" in Weggis
Great choise of cold and warm food, amazing dessert section and excellent service at 65 or 68 CHF (80 when it is with life music).
This offer is every weekend on Sunday (3x normal, 1x with this music thing).
Weggis is located at the Vierwaldstättersee with a beautiful scenery as the road is just near the lake!
If anyone is interested, i've got pictures of the food |

Café Felix serves breakfast / brunch all throughout the day. The eggs with lard were yammeeeee. The butter was room temperature, the fact never to be underestimated.
The Sunday breakfast at Clouds was nothing special. My eggs were cold.
Just thought I'd share. | This user would like to thank Aleydis for this useful post:

There is a cafe in Bellevue,on the side road in between ubs and globus. Don't remember the name but does decent eggs and bacon and various other breakfasts. Not as good as bubbles , but pretty conveniently located !

I like Bohemia a lot, but also can recommend the following places:
Volkhaus: very good coffee, a few parking spots just out front, if you are lucky!)
Stauffacherstrasse 60, 8004 Zürich http://www.restaurantvolkshaus.ch/
Quai 61: beautiful view, food is okay
Mythenquai 61, 8002 Zürich http://www.quai61.ch/en/home/?lang=set |

Reserve ahead if possible.

As already mentioned Kameha Grand (Glattpark-Opfikon) has an amazing brunch. It is 69CH, but it includes all the regular brunch stuff, 2 or 3 lunch menus and all those fancy desserts.

I love the brunch at the Kunsthaus, however the service isn't great. They even have a kids price!

My favourite brunch place is Babu's. Excellent food and nice place!
Another very nice place is "Le pain quotidien". I tried it and their food is really nice. They are one of the few ones that make real french croissant in Zurich

Okay, I recognise I am about to sink into deep water so apologies aforehand.
Do any of these "Full English Breakfast" establishments or equivalent serve "English style Bacon?"
(dons hard hat and hides)....

Impossible to find real English bacon here. Your best bet is speck but more like streaky bacon than English or Irish back bacon.

Fork and Bottle near Sihlcity if definitely our favorite place to go to for an American brunch. The pancakes are really thick and hearty.
Watch out for the specials - I had a fried chicken with gravy there! Haven't seen it on the special menu since though.
