Re: This year's flu - Damn...!

It has done the rounds at the office. I escaped lightly with only an afternoon in bed (I went to bed at 2pm and got up the next day fully clothed!). Kids had runny noses. A co-worker was off for a week! We had it very bad the first time around so may of escaped it this time because of some builtup immunity. CK

What helped me escape the sick bed is excercise, sauna and actimel . Back in the States I used to take some echinacea before the cold season and that used to help as well.

Re: This year's flu - Damn...!

I find drinking half a bottle of coughsyrup gets the lights out quickly. But with kids in the house I can't go that route anymore.

Re: This year's flu - Damn...!

Got my free flu jab from work (ironically enough, manufactured by my previous employer), so no flu for me
