Private swimming lessons

Hi,

Anyone knows someone somewhere in between Morges - Nyon providing private swimming lessons to small children? Most pools only have one week around easter is seems, but I would like them to start now.

Thanks,
Jerome

Re: Private swimming lessons

If there is 'only one week around...' then it will likely be a course and not private lessons.

Check the sticky in Swimming in Switzerland (not just the first page!) but the links to swimming schools to find the names of teachers who might be able to help.

Re: Private swimming lessons

I would highly recommend the classes offered at La Ligniere, just outside Gland. It is a heated pool with very competent instructors. If price senstive, they are not the cheapest but of very high quality. I know children have joined in the middle of the year, just started back this week after holidays, although technically the course runs the length of the school year, with special intensive sessions over the holidays. I think if your child's ability fits in one of the classes they could join. Ask to speak to Isabelle, website here:

ps--they also offer private classes to kids, but most kids benefit from the small group lessons.
