Re: New Montessori bilingual school in Nyon and Rolle

Is the Nyon Montessori school an AMI certified school? no...of course all Montessori will tell you that they have AMI certified teachers..but at the end it doesn't make the school a real certified Montessori unless the school is certified itself.
I was a Montessori lover until...if you are willing to pay for a Montessori why don't you have a look at other private schools for 3 to 6 years old...plenty in the area!!! have a look at the classrooms when students are attending, go on the web, research, try to catch up with parents ect at least you will know what is really going on and if you will not loose your money

Re: New Montessori bilingual school in Nyon and Rolle

Well, there is a great thread!!! Thank you to all who contributed with links.

We are considering a move to Nyon (currently in Geneva) and this includes the mandatory school comparison.

I found a link with private schools here, which includes

- Ecole Moser
- Ecole Montessori La Cote
- College Champittet

Any first-hand impressions of the above or any other private schools in Nyon? Thank you!

Re: New Montessori bilingual school in Nyon and Rolle

Hello, I know this is a really old thread but I'm hoping there's still someone who will see it that can help! I'm moving to the Lausanne area and would like to know best options for Montessori schools in the area. My daughter will be newly 3 years old when we arrive and my son will be newly 6. We'd like them to go as far as primary school in this method, at least. Thanks very much!
