I wonder about children support fund program from canton.

I living in Lausanne and I'm a master student.

I came here last September with my wife and got a birth on December.

Is there any support fund to the baby in Vaud?

Me and my wife have B permit and don't have any salary.

For people who are employed, the child "benefit" is paid by one employer.

If neither is employed, I believe it should come from the canton but don't know how to pursue that, sorry.

Ask at your institute, perhaps? Also how are you supporting yourself? Are you Swiss?

Edit: I see you're not Swiss as you have a B-permit. Talk to your commune too?
