Copd

Does anyone out there know anything about/or have any relatives suffering from the respiratory disease COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)?
My Mum suffers from this and I know it's not going to get better.
I've read all the info on it but would like to hear about any experiences from others.
Is there anything (apart from inhalers) which can ease the situation?

Thanks.

Re: Copd

My MIL suffered from it and my SIL was diagnosed last year. Treatmemt depends on the severity of the problem and what symptoms she has.

My OH has worked in COPD research for a number of years so he could tell you a lot more about it. PM me if you want more info.

Re: Copd

I read last year an article about a french method using essential oils.
It was not talking about that illness, but it was saying that he people inhales it and it brings more oxygen in the blood.

I don't know if it could help. If you want I will try to find it again.

Re: Copd

Thank you for your answers.
It is a disease which can't unfortunately be fixed, but the symptoms can be alleviated.
Another warning to those who smoke..........
