Our pediatrician speaks English and we like her a lot. Dr. Nada Chamaa, her office is off of Avenue de Beaulieu and is pretty near you as well.

Dr Faisa Benkabil, near the Roman ruins on the Rte de Chavannes, is a wonderful doctor: speaks English, a great listener - we have a handicapped daughter so we've known her since she did a neuro specialty at the CHUV, but her soft, peaceful manner is great with kids in general. Feel free to say we sent you :-) as she certainly remembers my daughter!

Good recommendation. Dr Nathalie Roulet in the same practice as Dr Benkabil at Vidymed is also good.

is there anyone out of the above pediatricians who is not fan of vaccinations?
We are looking for someone who still take new clients, assumes to be the GP of our baby without the need of all "recommended" vaccinations, and also a supporter of breastfeeding.

It seems to me that certain basic vaccinations are mandatory here.
I believe that it's not even possible to enroll your child in school unless you can present the vaccination card with all the required vaccines.

Why not call the hospital and ask them for guidance in regards to what is mandatory and what is not.

Not in our Vaud state school - I came prepared with print outs from our UK doctors, all ready to prove my kids' vaccination status, and it turned out not to matter a jot. Even when there was a measles outbreak locally a couple of years ago, all the school did was send out a letter advising parents to consider the vaccine if the child hadn't already had it.
