Church Blessing for Church of England

Hello

Could anyone advise please.

This summer we are getting married, the civil ceremony is booked and everything ok pending the paperwork. We also want to have a church blessing when all the family is coming over from England. The problem is finding a church to do the blessing as
C of E does not seem to be recognised here. We live in Lengnau AG close to Baden and would ideally like to have to service locally.

To add complication we can have the church in Regensberg for the date we require but no priest/vicar (the existing vicar is retiring and they have no replacement) where do find a priest who would be willing to do the service there.

Thanks in Advance

Clare

It might be a little far but there's a beautiful little Anglican church in Geneva. It's been around since the 19th century and is the true "Church of England"

You'll find more info here:

Note that there seems to be one in Zurich too

Congratulations for your upcoming wedding

ps. sorry just noticed that you mentioned you wanted a local wedding. Baden is 30 km from Zurich, perhaps the reverend can come to you ?

What do you mean by 'not recognised here'? As you are married after the civil ceremony, anything else is an option.
There are C of E services held in Turgi which is a 'daughter community' to St.Andrew's in Zürich. They 'borrow' the Reformed Church in Turgi for the services.

Also active and very friendly C of E church in Basel with two pastoral staff who may be able to travel for a service.
