Hi guys,

I'm thinking of seeing a dermatologist when I move to CH next month and hopefully start accutane. Has anyone been through this process in Switzerland?

I know here in Oz I need a referral from a GP to a dermatologist, and from there I practically need to beg for accutane. Does it happen this way in Switzerland, too?

Don't know about getting the drug from a dermatologist, but whether you need a referal depends on your insurance. If you have HMO, or house doctor style insurance, then you do. Call your insurer for advice.

I know it's approved in CH.. so a dermatologist can proscribe it... you just need to be aware of the potential side effects (which are carried on the label)
