Whoops! Look what 'weave' got here then...

Strange subject I know but the other day I found myself in a strange situation, not really knowing what I had been staring at for the last 6 years when on a family visit. Let me explain.

There is a male in my acquired Swiss family who, in older family 'photo's (say 30 years ago), looked like he had receding hair or at least going a bit thin on top. Strange because as long as I have known him he has had a full barnet with even a (centre) parting.

Now I have to admit that I have had my fair share of ridicule from said subject (like most family members) & especially being an 'Englander' .. (who likes salad cream & not vinegar, doesn't like Aromat, wears football shirts, has a strange job..etc...etc) & though I am not a vengeful person, I knew like Karma, one day, I would have my day.

Since seeing these old 'photo's I have made a few subtle enquiries, the results are astounding, indications are that we are dealing with a possible 'weave' rather than a transplant. What's a weave? I wouldn't know as I am lucky enough to still have the proper stuff. Please don't get me wrong, I don't think bald men are unattractive but in this case...

If there are any experts on a 'weave' I would like to know this. Would (for example) having one's head submerged in water (for 3 seconds for fun in a swimming pool on holiday), Gale force winds or an 'accidental' event reveal aforementioned 'weave'?

Just asking...

.

Here is everything you'll ever need to know about "weaves"

Basically it's like a semi permanently attached wig.

Couldn't be bothered with them myself.

Why is it that Samuel L Jackson's scene out of Pulp Fiction about striking down those that oppose him and the Lord's vengence popped into my head...?
