Info about quitting Depo (provera)

Hallo girls/mums. Id just like some info from those who tried depo. What are the side effects and how long did it take for ur ovulation to go back to normal after stopping. My last shot expired in January and im still irregular. It was quite convenient at the time but now i think i regret choosing it coz were now trying to conceive but im afraid it could take even a year before i get regular period. Instead im having pregnancy symptoms every month which really frustrates me. Thanks in advance.

Re: Info about quitting Depo (provera)

it can take up to one year to get out of your system so try not to get too disappointed. also please remember tha teven with normal ovulation and menstrual cycles only 50% of couples will achieve a pregnancy within 6 months of trying and only 80% within a year...........hope this helps
