This is only the general link and it's all in German but if nothing else comes up it might be worth emailing them in English or getting someone to do the job in German and asking if they have any contacts available.
Hope you can find someone for her.

Nicky on the Yahoo ex-pats groups run by Carmen there is a pregnancy loss support group. Maybe your friend could get some good information from there.

sorry I can't give you a direct contact. But have you/she tried to ask the hospital? I only know it from Bern, here the Unispital give you the contacts for counsellors for miscarriages. They really do a good job given the difficult circumstances, can visit at home, give ideas for ceremonies if the parents wish to have one in the hospital and help with funeral. Maybe the Unispital Zürich have someone who does speak english or could help her get the necessary assistance.
Other than that there is the "Fachstelle Fehlgeburt und perinataler Kindstod" (They offer counselling services/coordination of counselling services). Maybe you or she could try to send them an e-mail or give a call in english and ask for contacts, or if you wish I could call them and ask if communication in english is possible/they offer counselling in enlish.

you could try these: www.medizinfeminin.ch (Dr. Dorin Ritzmann), www.margritmaurer.ch (midwife, but I'm not sure if she can communicate in english) or the Universitätsspital http://www.en.usz.ch/MedicalServices...crinology.aspx and as already mentioned the "Fachstelle Fehlgeburt und perinataler Kindstod" www.fpk.ch | This user would like to thank kanga for this useful post: | |

Sorry I can't be of direct help, but during my pregnancy I found those links
In German they are called "Angel Children" http://www.engelskinder.ch/
Or maybe the New Stork Times has a source for the English speaking. http://www.thestork.ch/
Hope it helps.

When I went through it, I asked at the hospital in the service I was in and they contacted someone for me. Perhaps you can get back to where she was?
As MC knows, it gets easier with time, but you never ever forget.

I can only say Im sorry for your friend, she and her little angel will be in my prayers. You never get over, but you learn to live with it. Not sure about her faith, but religion really helped me.

Tell your friend to contact the principal hospital in Zurich. They are sure to have someone who is professional trained to help.
