Re: Feedback on Swedish School of Geneva and other schools?
The swedish school has been around for a while but I believe they have only recently gone bi-lingual Fr/En, and appearing from adverstisements, they seem to be expanding. Obviously they have always had swedish, and from my knowledge always catered to the swedish dipliomats in GVA. Going more broader to En/Fr is fairly new from my understanding. Also, from what I know, the location was always in a large mansion area of the mission/ambassador residence in a corner of GVA, near Chene/Boude de Monde. It is not the most centrally located, so if you live or work nearby, good, but if not, the transport could be quite difficult. Assuming it is still in the same place.
Le Chat and Geneva English school are relatively close, one in Versoix the other in Commugny edge. But College du Leman (CDM) and Geneva English school are closer if that helps. Not sure if all the schools you mention would have a pre-school programme for your 3-year old though. Most have schooling at age 4 or higher, depending on the school. At age 3, you are really looking at a creche or pre-school programme. Also, keep in mind, le Chat, Geneva English school, and CDM are generally in the same area, basically VD, or edge of Geneva. Living on rive gauche and commuting to these schools will indeed take some time/patience. On the other hand, the internatonal school LGB campus and the swedish school are quite close.
