hello.

I need some help please. I have looked at the information available here as well as elsewhere. but am still rather confused.

I am from Singapore and will be going to Bern for work coming August 2011 for a year.

I have a 3 yr old daugher for whom i am looking to place in a pre school.

Can i have some advise please?

Once you have found your town of Residence, you can go to the Municipality, there , they will help you to find a Playgroup for your Daughter to attend. Or you can find a private bi-lingual playgroup for her.

Bern is a large Kanton / town..........baby steps

Check out the local Berne Anglican or Roman Catholic church - lots of support groups. Also the International Club.
