Phil and Ted's Verve/Vibe strollers (do they fit on all Zurich trams?)

For anyone who has a Phil and Ted's inline double Verve stroller - can you confirm that it fits on the old trams easily enough? I believe the pram section of the old trams are 67cms wide and the Verve is 66cms wide. While theoretically the stroller "fits", I want to hear from anyone who regularly uses the trams to know that it works in practice.

Thanks.

Re: Phil and Ted's Verve

I have the Vibe which I think is the same width according to the website. I managed to get mine on an old style tram but it was a bit of a squeeze I admit and took two people to get it on there due to the steps!

Good luck!

Re: Phil and Ted's Verve

Thanks English Rose. Maybe I'll start a new thread on the Vibe since I think it is more popular and has the same dimensions.

Phil and Ted's Strollers - On Trams

For anyone who has a Phil and Ted's inline double Vibe (or Verve) stroller - can you confirm that it fits on the old trams easily enough? I believe the pram section of the old trams are 67cms wide and the Vive (and Verve) is 66cms wide. While theoretically the stroller "fits", I want to hear from anyone who regularly uses the trams to know that it works in practice.

The other versions of the Phil and Ted's strollers are slightly narrower but I'd like to see if folks are using the Vibe without to many hassles on the tram.

Thanks.

Re: Phil and Ted's Verve

From watching mothers in many cities, I believe the tandem twin children stroller is much easier than the side by side type.

Re: Phil and Ted's Prams - On Trams

Thanks Ittigen - I should be clear that I am referring to the in-line twin stroller and not the side-by-side. Since even some in-line double strollers don't fit on the old zurich trams, I just want to be sure the Phil and Ted's Verve or Vibe do fit without too much hassle as I am a regular tram-er.

Thanks again.

Re: Phil and Ted's Verve

Hi Ittigen - the reason I added a new thread is so my title is not limited to "verve" as was my initial thought. I want to open up my title to phil and ted's generally, and make it specifically tram related in the title. how do i change the title without adding a new thread?

Thanks

I have the double vibe and have had no problems on the old trams. If there a few buggies could be a squish but there's always another tram coming.

Re: Phil and Ted's Verve

Seems like we always get stuck with the old-style trams out where we are on the end of Line 7. Our PT Vibe fits, no problem, but I definitely need a helping hand to get it on and off when I have it loaded down with both kids.
