Need advice on US Infant Video Monitor on 2.4GHz band -- would it work in CH?

I want to bring over a video baby monitor from the US to use in Switzerland. A lot of the baby monitors run on 2.4 GHz but a few run on digital. Can a 2.4 GHz product be used in Switzerland?

Any advice is appreciated!

Thanks!

** Sorry about the type in my Title, I cannot update it now

do you have make and model?

I'm assuming it's a dect based model transmitting on the 2.4 frequency?

They are sold here on 2.4GHz

And from Officialdom in PDF EN on P55

You might have to consider the power supply portion.

Thanks for the links. I have never heard of that site but it looks like their video one's are sold at 2.4 GHz too so the model I want from the US should work!

The model I am considering is:
Samsung Wireless Video Security Monitoring System w/ 3.5" LCD

Re: Need advice on US Infant Video Monitor on 2.4GHz band -- would it work in CH?

I have US video monitors for my midget and they work perfectly. The power supply handles 110-240v too so it's just a plug adaptor.

If the power supply does not handle the difference, choose a different model. As most are designed for use when travelling, it should be ok.

Thanks for starting this thread. i have one coming in our container later this month. Still wasn't sure if it was going to work or not. I'll have to check the make/model to see what frequency it runs on.
