Maternity Pay

My girlfriend and I live in London and are expecting a baby in early November.
In February next year, we will move to Geneva (on a class B residency permit).

We're trying to find out whether she'll still be entitled to receive statutory maternity pay from the UK after we leave. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of the rules?

Also, does anyone know of any clubs for new mothers and babies for English speakers (or those in the process of learning French).

Thanks for any advice in advance,
